Abstract
Energy efficient lighting has been successfully adopted in a wide variety of non-domestic markets including industrial buildings, offices and hotels. Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) have been developed primarily to make low energy lighting technology available in a form which is particularly suited to the domestic market. The results of this study highlight cost-effectiveness of CFLs in the domestic sector.
