Abstract
Discusses the Department for Work and Pension’s Jobcentre Plus scheme - a construction programme to redesign, rebrand and refurbish approximately one thousand former Jobcentre and Social Security offices - as an example of best practice in the OGC’s Achieving Excellence in Construction initiative in relation to the approach towards occupational health and safety and the environment.
