Abstract

Intended to provide basic rules for the consistent and systematic taking into account of all deformations in buildings. The rules take into account the safety of the building, avoidance of damage to non-load-transferring parts, the compatibility of prefabricated members, as well as the prevention and reduction of effectiveness and/or damage to the appearance of a building or of its individual parts. Covers gravity forces and temperature, deformation of supporting structure during erection, and utilisation requirements.
