Abstract
Reviews the needs of building-reliant species in relation to the build types that are likely to be in general use over the next decade. Presents a series of architects’ drawings, with due consideration for the Building Regulations, suitable for the enhancement of biodiversity in new low or zero carbon buildings. Covers relevant legislation, policy and regulations. Addresses building sections like living walls and panel systems, as well as artificial lighting planting for wildlife, community involvement, and monitoring and research.
