Abstract
Sets out a review of the ‘criteria for listing’ which was carried out by NIEA during 2008. Considers the initial Ministerial direction, the situation in other parts of the UK and in the Republic of Ireland and the issues raised in correspondence with the Department or at Planning Appeals in recent years. Forms the basis for the current public consultation 'Criteria for listing - a consultation on proposed revisions to annex C of planning policy statement 6'.
