Delivering change: building homes where we need them

Publication Year

2014

Document Status

Abstract

Addresses the under-supply of homes in the UK. Argues that: the density of existing communities must be increased; land must be considered on its merits for house building, including brownfield land and also green belt land in some cases; and cities must work with neighbouring authorities to identify and deliver the houses needed. Also looks at the actions city decision-makers and national politicians need to take to improve house building rates.
