Abstract

Promotes good practice for design and detailing in junctions to address differential movement in timber frame buildings. Establishes the principles and guidance to follow and covers joint locations in windows, roofline eaves and verge, non masonry cladding, balconies, stairs, lift shafts, services, chimneys and existing building extensions.
