Manufacturer Spotlight: Modular Systems

Established in 2016 to provide a viable alternative to traditional construction. Modular Systems, based in Hull, has completed successful projects globally from Student Villages in Manchester to luxury camping in the Saudi Arabian Desert. 

We wanted to find out more about the manufacturer’s products, which are now available to specify via NBS Source. Here’s what the manufacturer said… 

We manufacture both steel-framed and GRP bathroom pods, each built with precision by experts in a controlled factory environment. At Modular Systems we work closely with all our clients to ensure that specifications are complied with, and that quality and reliability of materials are utilised within the pods. 

Our unique manufacturing methods make our GRP pods extremely robust and rigid. Each pod benefits from an antibacterial, fungicidal, and chemical resistant coating ensuring minimal maintenance. This unique system is what makes our pods different to others on the market. 

We joined NBS Source this year based on NBS’ reputation within the construction industry. 

Source displays all the relevant product information in a clear, standardised format which is easily accessible for specifiers. Before we joined NBS Source, trying to get specified would be a very time-consuming process which involved a trail of emails and phone calls to try and find specifiers who might be interested in our products.
