We caught up with Sales Director Simon Gregory to find out more about the manufacturer’s products, which are now available on NBS Source. Here’s what Simon said…
Our product ranges encompass a wide range of materials from copper, bronze, brass, stainless steel, zinc, aluminium and porcelain ceramic, through to back painted glass.
We also offer standard and bespoke engineered products, which gives architects and designers the ability to specify the complete façade. This includes architectural expanded mesh, perforated and embossed metal cladding, feature fins, insulated spandrel panels, soffit panels, shingles, louvres, brise soleil and other specialist fabrications.
We manufacture all our products at our state-of-the-art production facility in Lancashire. It gives customers the reassurance that we can meet demanding construction programmes and schedules. We offer the highest quality materials and service, in accordance with our ISO-accredited business management system for quality, environmental and health & safety.

We think that it’s testament to our products and approach that Proteus has won several industry awards. This includes multiple categories in The Façade Awards in 2020, 2021 and, most recently, being shortlisted in 2022, with the finale later this year.
The decision to list our products on NBS Source was taken after discussions with various architects and specifiers, who advised that their preference was for this platform because it gives them all the product information in one place. It helped that NBS Source is a well-respected brand that can offer greater awareness of our cladding systems to a wider audience.
We’ve been working closely with NBS, both when we were putting our listing together, and by keeping our data continually up-to-date. This ensures that specifiers have the most relevant and current information possible.
