Developed to improve the overall environmental quality of civil engineering projects, the Civil Engineering Environmental Quality Assessment and Awards Scheme is finding increased acceptance in the industry.

CEEQUAL is a tool for project teams to use to assess how well they have dealt with the environmental, and many social, issues on their projects.

Developed by a wide range of industry representatives over a ten-year period, its assessments are becoming an essential benchmark for many civil engineering projects large or small and this programme looks at some of the main components of the scheme.
