NBS will confirm receipt of this by contacting the Licensee in writing, normally by e-mail.
8.11 If NBS has to contact the Licensee or give notice to the Licensee in writing, they will do so by e-mail to the email address provided by the Licensee when they created their NBS ID.
8.12 Any notice given by the Licensee to NBS, or by NBS to the Licensee, will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an e-mail is sent, or three days after the date of posting any letter. In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an e-mail that such e-mail was sent to the specified e-mail address of the addressee.
8.13 NBS will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations under this Licence that is caused by an event outside of its reasonable control and if such an event takes place that affects the performance of NBS’s obligations under this Licence:
