September 2013

On 25 September 2013 at the Building Centre in London the third annual Be2Awards were held. The Be2Awards are the world's only awards focused on social media in the built environment.

NBS are proud to announce that the award for Best AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) PR/ Marketing Campaign was won with a large majority of 43% of the votes. This award is for consultancies or in-house teams who have deployed social media tools and techniques really effectively as part of their campaign work.

In nomination for this award it was commented:

"Via Twitter, LinkedIn and blogging they keep you up to date with all the latest content on their website which, as an architecture student, is a minefield of really useful industry information on subjects such as BIM, sustainability and contracts and law that you don't come across in the lecture theatre. Too many social media campaigns are gimmicky or trying too hard. A consistent campaign that provides a gateway to something really useful is often more effective."

NBS can be followed on Facebook externallinkand Twitter externallink, and the NBS National BIM Library on LinkedIn externallink.
