The NBS National BIM Library has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards, Building Awards 2013 Finalist [LINK REMOVED - NO LONGER CURRENT] for BIM Initiative of the Year, BIM Initiative of the Year award in the Construction News Awards 2013 [LINK REMOVED - NO LONGER CURRENT], alongside NBS Create, shortlisted for the Digital Built Britain Award.
Unfortunately NBS National BIM Library had to settle with just the 'finalist' tag, missing out to the well deserving Costain, with their work on the London Bridge redevelopment project for Network Rail.
However, hopes are high for the Construction News Awards in July, having been shortlisted for the BIM Initiative of the Year Award for outstanding performance in the adoption and application of building information modelling.
Whoever the winners if these awards are, it is absolutely fantastic that after only 12 months our NBS National BIM Library initiative is receiving such fantastic recognition.
