Abstract
The main purposes of this guide are twofold. First, to provide guidance which assists planning authority officers and planning committees to consider whether information submitted in the Environmental Statement is adequate. Second, to help them evaluate that information and any representations made by statutory consultees and others. It should also be of interest to others with a wider interest in environmental assessments.
