Abstract

BB77 sets out guidance which applies to all schools in England where there are likely to be pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities. It provides information for those involved in building new school accommodation, or adapting, modifying and/or extending existing premises.

Supersedes BB 77(1997). Superseded by Building Bulletin 102 Designing for disabled children and children with special educational needs: Guidance for mainstream and special schools, (DCSF, 2008).
