Abstract
One in a series of technical specifications which describe the requirements of the National Motorway Communications System Mark 2, (NMCS2) system components and their communication interfaces. Defines requirements for the High-level Data Link Control (HDLC) point to point communications link. It looks at the transmission of data across the interface and includes message protocols and electrical parameters for the link.
