Abstract
Introduces good practice aspects for managing and providing routine and winter services on the trunk road network. This section introduces network management information, the pavement management system, section referencing and procedures, cross section positions, HAPMS data, management of data, pavement condition surveys, visual surveys (flexible), visual condition surveys (VCS) on concrete surfaced pavements, machine survey pre-processor (MSP), records and inspections of highway structures, drainage records and inspections and geotechnical asset information management.
