Abstract

Discusses the risks and issues of integrating third party equipment within fire detection and fire alarm CIE. Aims to improve understanding of the key directives: Low Voltage (LVD) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC); and covers testing, third party equipment types, risks, and best practice for maintaining system integrity.
