Abstract
Provides design rules for the structural elements of bridges, either for the reliability of the whole bridge or part of it made of timber, or a composite with concrete, steel of other materials.
Document History
Supersedes BS EN 1995-2:2004. This document is considered to be a second generation Eurocode and can be used to prepare for the transition from first to second generation of Eurocodes. The first generation Eurocode should be used as the applicable standard for building and civil engineering works constructed in the UK. First generation Eurocodes will be withdrawn by BSI on 30 March 2028 and will be replaced by second generation Eurocodes. The National Annex contains national choices for buildings and civil engineering works constructed in the UK.
