Abstract
Provides rules for the structural design of buildings and civil engineering works. Includes guidance and actions relating to exposure to wind, design, modelling, wind velocity and velocity pressure, and aeroelastic phenomena.
Document History
This document is considered to be a second generation Eurocode and can be used to prepare for the transition from first to second generation of Eurocodes. The first generation Eurocode should be used as the applicable standard for building and civil engineering works constructed in the UK. First generation Eurocodes will be withdrawn by BSI on 30 March 2028 and will be replaced by second generation Eurocodes. Supersedes BS EN 1991-1-4:2005+A1:2010 on 30 March 2028. The National Annex contains national choices for buildings and civil engineering works constructed in the UK.
