Abstract
Provides practical guidance for managing reclaimed asphalt from its recovery and classification through to its storage, processing and reuse in highway works. It explains the technical, regulatory and quality-management considerations needed to ensure that reclaimed materials are handled consistently and incorporated into asphalt mixtures without compromising performance or compliance. Aimed at highway authorities, contractors and material suppliers, the guide promotes resource efficiency, waste reduction and lower-carbon road construction through the responsible use of reclaimed asphalt.
