It presents insights from six participating innovators, highlighting common barriers such as risk-averse procurement practices, funding constraints, limited validation data, and cultural resistance to change. The report also provides recommendations for local authorities, industry stakeholders, and the Centre of Excellence for Decarbonising Roads to accelerate the adoption of sustainable road infrastructure solutions through collaboration, testing frameworks, and innovation-friendly procurement approaches.
