Seeks views for proposed amendments to the Traffic management permit scheme (England) regulations 2007, with the intention they take effect from 2015. Following the outcome of a previous consultation, in England, the new system will enable authorities to permit, vary or revoke schemes with their own orders, no longer requiring the Secretary of State to grant permission by order.
Replaced by Statutory guidance for highway authority permit schemes (DfT, 2015) and Statutory guidance for highway authority permit schemes - permit scheme conditions (DfT, 2015). Consultation closed 25 September 2014.
