Abstract
Intended to describe a harmonised approach on addressing the problem of dangerous substances and preparations, as well as radiation, when related to products falling under the Construction Products Directive (CPD). Explains the extent to which the Directive applies to dangerous and radioactive substances may present a danger for man and the environment during normal use of construction products when installed in works. Intended for technical specification writers for consideration together with the respective mandates and provisions.
