Abstract
Fibre-reinforced polymer composites (FRPs) use for strengthening concrete is growing. This report addresses the issues of: long-term durability of the materials in the environment likely to be encountered in practice; inspection techniques available and key points to look for during an inspection; control specimens; what instrumentation should be installed as part of the strengthening exercise and repair and replacement of damaged or deteriorated fibre composites.
