Abstract
Identifies common defects such as crazing, colour variations, cracking in solid construction, vertical and horizontal cracking in rendering on metal lathing, cracking in a pattern closely following joints in the background, hollow sounding or detached areas, and soft finish. Offers possible practical remedial measures for each.
