Abstract
The Non-domestic technical handbook provides practical guidance to meet building regulations requirements for the conservation of fuel and power, furthering sustainable development and ensuring the health, safety, welfare and convenience of people in and around buildings.

Superseded by Building standards technical handbook 2022: Non- domestic. Was also partially superseded by Building standards technical handbook 2022: non-domestic buildings (Interim publication) (Scottish Government, 2022). Supersedes Scottish Government Technical Handbook - 2019 - Non-Domestic. April 2021 Addendum introduces changes to Section 2 fire relating to the use of Category 3 MCM cladding and BS 8414 fire tests. Comes into force 1 March 2021.
