Abstract
Covers safety requirements for electronic controlgear for discharge lamps for use on AC supplies of 50 or 60 Hz up to 1000 V, or with DC supplies up to 1000 V. This type is a converter that can contain igniting and stabilizing elements under direct current or at a frequency that can deviate from the supply frequency.
