Abstract
Covers the safety of isolating transformers for medical IT systems for the supply of medical locations for supply voltages up to 1000 V AC and supply and operating frequencies up to 500 Hz, and a rated output between 0,5 kVA and 10 kVA. Applies to stationary, single- or three-phase air-cooled dry-type isolating transformers, designed to be permanently connected to the fixed wiring.
