Abstract
Describes how a five-year collaboration, now into its final year, between public and private bodies has enabled The Estate Action Project to refurbish over 1,000 dwellings in the King's Cross area of London. Also covers refurbishment of Harrow Leisure Centre, conversion of a Brooke Bond factory in Bristol into a studio centre for young people and conversion of a working-men's institute in Pontardawe Wales into an arts centre.
