Assessing the carbon footprint and whole life GHG impacts of different underground attenuation tanks

Abstract

Explores the carbon footprint associated with two equivalent stormwater attenuation tanks, analysing data from the manufacturer and using the Inventory of Carbon and Energy (ICE) database, presents their carbon footprints. Covers a concrete pipe tank and a geocellular tank, looking at the assessment methodology, the lifecycle stages, asset service life and the calculations. Presents the results and conclusions.
