Abstract

Looks at the efforts of Laganside Corporation to incorporate energy efficient development in Belfast, particularly through its adoption of a policy to 'achieve high standards of energy efficiency through: the influence of its site development strategy; its right to comment on all planning applications concerning development in Laganside; and promotion of development projects demonstrating best energy efficiency practices, including the refurbishment of the Clarendon Building'.
