Code of practice for wind loads. Gives methods for determining the gust peak wind loads on buildings and components thereof that should be taken into account in design using equivalent static procedures. Not applicable to buildings which, by virtue of the structural properties, e.g. mass, stiffness, natural frequency or damping, are particularly susceptible to dynamic excitation. Only applicable to sites in the UK.
Superseded by BS EN 1991-1-4:2005. Supersedes BS 6399-2:1995 and CP3: Chapter V-2:1972. Amendment 13392 dated 27 March 2002 - Indicated by a sideline in the margin. Amendment 14009 is Corrigendum No.1. dated 31 July 2002 - Corrected Figure 40.
