Abstract
Recommendations are give for design principles and application uses for flat roofs with continuously supported roof coverings. Details are given for weathertightness, drainage, thermal design, sound insulation, condensation control, structural support, fire precautions, maintenance and repair. This Code of Practice (COP) can be used for the following - terraces, podia, parking decks and green/garden roofs and roof coverings with a pitch not greater than 10° to the horizontal.
