Covers safety requirements for construction, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and dismantling of electrically operated stairlifts affixed to a building structure, moving in an inclined plane and intended for use by persons with impaired mobility.
Supersedes BS 5776:1996. Partially supersedes BS 6440:1999 which remains current. Amendment dated 31 December 2009 - Supersession text amended.
