BS EN ISO 12006-2:2020 Building construction - organization of information about construction works. Framework for classification (Incorporating corrigendum March 2020)
Establishes the framework (but not the content) for developing built environment classification systems, identifying recommended classification table titles and shows how object classes are related. It fully supports building information modelling (BIM) and encompasses the project life cycle from briefing, design, construction through to operation and maintenance and demolition. Relevant to building, civil engineering, services and landscaping.
Supersedes BS ISO 12006-2:2015. Identical to ISO 12006-2:2015. Amendment dated 31 March 2020 - This corrigendum renumbers BS ISO 12006-2:2015 as BS EN ISO 12006-2:2020. Amendment dated 31 March 2020 - National foreword text corrected.
