BS 6206:1981 Specification for impact performance requirement for flat safety glass and safety plastics for use in buildings (AMD 4580) (AMD 5189) (AMD 7589) (AMD 8156) (AMD 8693) (Partially superseded but remains current)
Gives performance requirements and test method in respect of energy absorption (impact) for flat safety glass and safety plastics which are intended to reduce the risk of cutting and piercing injuries from these materials. Specifies three classes. Does not include use of these materials or any requirements relating to durability.
Partially superseded by BS EN 12600:2002. This document is partially superseded but remains current and is cited in Building Regulations.
