BS 8081:2015 Code of practice for grouted anchors

Abstract

Recommendations for soil and rock anchorage systems of the grouted or mechanical type. Details the basis for geotechnical design and covers ground assessment, materials, effect of water on durability, analysis, structural design and execution. Looks at limit states and design considerations.

Supersedes BS 8081:1989. First published 1989. Second (present) edition, August 2015. Came into effect 31 August 2015. BS 8081 gives non-contradictory, complementary information for use with BS EN 1997-1:2004+A1:2013 and its UK National Annexes, BS EN 1537:2013 and BS EN ISO 22477-5. As BS EN ISO 22477-5 is not yet published, the recommendations provided in Annex G of this document apply.
