Abstract

Provides recommendations for the management of moisture in buildings using an integrated, pragmatic approach. Including the management of moisture risk from interstitial and surface condensation, from excessive or low internal relative humidity, and rain penetration or high levels of ground water. Looks at the main sources of moisture in buildings, transportation and deposition and, recommendations and guidance on how to manage those risks during the assessment, design, construction and operation of buildings.
