Abstract
Summarises the findings given in the full report, setting out the basis for the report and the scope of the research project. Looks at design aspects including objectives, considerations, construction methods, standards, active and passive precautions and structure protection types and approval. Also covers procedures, materials, external drainage provision and how to improve the water-resistance of existing basements including investigation, maintenance and improvements to the internal environment.
