Abstract

Intended to be useful for Mineral Planning Authorities (MPAs) and their officers in framing conditions for new permissions, reviewing IDO and updating other Old Permissions. It should also prove useful for mineral operators in terms of their understanding about the need for a condition. It should help to reduce the number of appeals against conditions and keep the reputation of MPA's high in terms of professionalism and quality.
