Abstract
Presents research into the evaluation of the life cycle of sewer pipes in the UK, from design through to sourcing, construction, use and disposal. Aims to demonstrate the importance of evaluating the environmental effects of the materials and processes used. Considers which material is best for the environment and the validity of the analysis.
