Abstract

Supports the waste electrical and electronic equipment regulations (SI 2006/3289), as amended by The Waste Electrical and electronic equipment (amendment) regulations 2007 (SI 2007/3454). Outlines the obligations which the WEEE regulations place on distributors and producers of electrical and electronic equipment. It also covers the roles of local authorities, waste management organisations and the consumer.
