Abstract

The Departments Statement of Strategy 2011-2014 outlines policy for sustainable development. Revisions to the building regulations and technical guidance document will play a role in developing better quality housing. This document discusses the possible changes to Part J by providing guidance on the safe design and installation of heat producing appliances, and the protection of water resources and the environment is also achieved by the prevention of pollution due to spillage from fuel storage tanks.
