Abstract
The Recast Energy performance of Buildings Directive 2010/31/EU now requires Ireland to build on its existing arrangements to ensure that: building energy ratings are included in all advertisements for the sale or lease of buildings, and energy performance certificates are displayed in public and privately owned buildings, which are frequently visited by the public and which are above 500m² in size.
