Abstract

Covers planning policy for the coastal areas of England and Wales. It sets the general context for policy in Chapter 1 and identifies planning policies for the coast in Chapter 2. Policies for developments that require a coastal location are presented in Chapter 3. Guidance is then given on how these policies should be reflected in development plans in Chapter 4.
