Abstract

Proposals for an amendment to the energy requirements in the Building Regulations (NI) 2000 and the new Technical Booklets F 1 and F 2 associated with these Regulations. The proposals further the implementation of the Government's programme of commitments in the Energy White Paper and in the Action Plan for Energy Efficiency, which were published in February 2003 and April 2004 respectively.

This consultation package comprises: 1. A letter and the list of Consultees; 2. A response form; 3. This proposed regulations and draft Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA); 4. Proposed new Technical Booklet: F1 for Dwellings; and 5. Proposed new Technical Booklet: F2 for Buildings other than Dwellings. Consultation closed on 21 January 2005. Replaced by Final Regulatory Impact Assessment, DFP 2006.
