Cycling and walking investment strategy
Comprises the UK Government's cycling and walking strategy. Discusses the Government's ambition and objectives for cycling and walking in England, detailing the financial resources available, monitoring the performance of the strategy and what governance arrangements will be made. Also includes an action plan which outlines actions already taken as well as future actions.
Supersedes Cycling and walking investment strategy - consultation (DFT, 2016). Related to the following: Gear change - a bold vision for cycling and walking (DFT, 2020); Local cycling and walking infrastructure plans - technical guidance for local authorities; Local cycling and walking infrastructure plans - annexes A to C; and Cycling and walking investment strategy - investment inputs, outputs and outcomes (all DFT, 2017).
