Abstract
Provides best-practice guidance to NHS organisations in England on all aspects of managing their estate. Presents an overview of EU rules on procurement and an explanation of several procurement methods, including private finance initiative (PFI). Discusses acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold land and property, and town planning and planning strategic investment in the estate. Sets out what constitutes mandatory guidance.
