Windows and doors - single-axis hinges to BS EN 1935

Abstract

Explores particular issues for specification, selection and use of single-axis hinges used in windows and doors. Gives detailed requirements for windows and doors opening in one direction only and with a rotation axis of no more than 30mm from the face of the sash or door. It covers both fixed pin and lift-off hinges. There is additional information for hinges intended for use on fire doors.
